Handbuilt (slab-formed) and hand-decorated (underglaze pencils) vase - glazed earthenware.
Handformed ceramic cups, which I modelled after a crushed paper cup. The have small indentations, which mean they fit into a hand perfectly.
Handbuilt bowl, by coiling. Glazed with clear glaze, high temperature earthenware (1120C) - safe for food use.
One of my few thrown forms. Stoneware.
A little creamer jug, in which I incorporated weave technique for the first time. I also added some copper mesh onto the handle, which subsequently burnt off (mostly) in the kiln. Stoneware.
Leafcutter ant tiles, by using a plaster cast mould made from my scraffito original. Buff clay, oxides, underglaze colours and clear glaze.
A prototype for a series of bowls I am intending to make in the future. Thrown form.
I made these ceramic tiles as part of my C&G certificate course
- a plaster mould was made from my original (carved) design and
each tile was individually painted and glazed with clear glaze.
Available for reproduction and purchase.
A small dip boat or a container for olives etc.
