UNDER OUR SKY / PALANEN TAIVASTA - in post-production

A 27-minute documentary about the experiences of a family of Thais, who have flown from their rural Thai village to the cold Northern regions of Finland, to pick wild berries in its rainy forests. This beautifully conceived film offers an enthralling view into a different way of experiencing home and away, and is a poetic exploration into the human condition, while existing within two very different cultures.

Produced by Camera Cagliostro / Jyrki Kaipainen

Funding by YLE (Finnish public broadcasting company), AVEK and SES (Finnish Film Foundation)
